Invitation to the CDR conference on 5 July 2022
The CDR Initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) invites you to discuss questions about shaping the twin transformation with guests from politics, business and science on 5 July 2022.
Corporate responsibility in practice: shaping the dual transformation
The sustainable transformation and the digital transformation of our society and economy are the two major challenges of this decade, which entail a multitude of ecological and social impacts on society. Companies have a special responsibility when it comes to the causes and shaping of these challenges.
How can companies assume responsibility in concrete terms in order to meet the sustainable challenges posed by digital change? What role does corporate digital responsibility (CDR) play in this? What framework must politicians set in order to counter the negative ecological challenges of digitalisation and how can companies be held accountable?
The CDR Initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) invites you to discuss these and other questions about shaping the twin transformation with guests from politics, business and science
Speakers at the event include:
- Dr Christiane Rohleder, State Secretary for Consumer Protection at the BMUV
- Christian Kühn, Parliamentary State Secretary at the BMUV
- Alexander Birken, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Otto Group
- Lena-Sophie Müller, Managing Director of Initiative D21
- Nicola Brandt, Head of the OECD Berlin Centre
The reports of the CDR Initiative member companies will also be published for the first time at the conference. In the reports, the companies use concrete examples to show how they are implementing their voluntary commitment based on the CDR Code in practice.
We look forward to your participation.
