Thematic partnership: The CDR Initiative expands its commitment.

20. May 2025 - Announcement

The CDR Initiative is further expanding its commitment through thematic and development partnerships for greater reach and impact.

The CDR Initiative expands its commitment.

As part of their membership in the CDR Initiative, companies demonstrate a special commitment to Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) and affirm it by signing the CDR Code. The CDR Initiative supports its member companies as a platform for learning and exchange. However, since the opportunities and challenges of a responsible digital transformation are diverse, the CDR Initiative is expanding its involvement through thematic and development partnerships.

Thematic partnership - for greater impact of the CDR Initiative

The opportunities and challenges of a responsible digital transformation are diverse — and that is precisely their strength. To shape them actively and effectively, the initiative will increasingly rely on open exchange, engagement, and the combined expertise of a wide range of organisations. Through thematic partnerships with stakeholders who already bring in-depth experience in key areas of Corporate Digital Responsibility, the initiative grows — both in content and strategy.

Thematic partners contribute their professional perspectives to the CDR Initiative, share their experiences, and can engage in projects — all based on a shared understanding of values.

These are our thematic partners:

Development partnership - shaping digital responsibility together

Through the development partnership, we reach out and offer new companies who aren't yet members the opportunity to further develop their digital business models responsibly — in a practical, efficient manner tailored to the individual needs of each organisation.

Whether it’s initial steps, targeted improvements in specific areas, or advancing to the next level of maturity in CDR management, the development partnership meets organisations where they currently stand. Perfection is not a prerequisite — the focus is on shared learning, concrete actions, and a sustainably improved position on the key responsibility issues of the digital transformation.

The CDR Initiative supports this journey with proven methods, practical insights, and the experience gained from working with our member companies. At the same time, you benefit from exchanging ideas with other development partners, thematic partners, and members — and actively contribute to shaping the CDR landscape.
