Second online evening event of the Digital Future Challenge

29. Jul 2021 - Video, Event

Event in German; automatically generated English subtitles available

Transformation in society – How can we align the digital transition with sustainability goals?

Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) stands for responsible action by businesses in the digital world and aims to motivate companies to shape digitalisation in a people- and value-oriented way in the interest of society. But how exactly can CDR become a driver for a human-centric digital and sustainable transformation? And how can companies and organisations use digitalisation to bring about a sustainable transformation of their own business? Prof. Dr Christian Kastrop (State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection), Birgit Klesper (Deutsche Telekom, Senior Vice President of Group Corporate Responsibility) and Nicolai Andersen (Deloitte, Head of Consulting) spoke about these and other questions at the online evening event on 29 July 2021. The event was moderated by Dr Ole Wintermann (Bertelsmann Stiftung, Senior Project Manager of the Programme “Companies in Society”).
